Conference room dedicated to late "Skip" Gardner

A first-floor conference room in McArthur Hall will be dedicated to the late acting director of Human Resources Management during May 17 ceremonies.

The Milburn "Skip" Gardner Conference Room will be named for the longtime Cooperative Extension Service employee who became the HRM assistant director in 1995 and, then, its acting director in 1997. Gardner died in 1998.

Public ceremonies begin at 3 p.m. on the first floor of McArthur, with a reception to follow in McArthur Court. Vice President for Business Affairs Leah Norman will preside.

McArthur is home to the departments of HRM, Comptroller and Treasurer and Procurement and Contracts.
