SBIR has three phases; the deadlines are for Phase I proposals. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Food and Drug Administration accept proposals on December 15 only. Provides support for research in advanced scientific subjects in the biological and physical sciences. Grants are made to recognized educational and charitable organizations in support of postdoctoral projects. Grants will not support research on cancer, cardiology, or AIDS.
