Dr. R. Rodney Foil (left in left photo) and Linda J. Duckworth (right in right photo) were among those honored by the College of Forest Resources and Forest and Wildlife Research Center for service and leadership accomplishments. Foil recently retired after a 30-year administrative career, the last 13 as vice president for the Division of Agriculture, Forestry and Veterinary Medicine. A plaque was presented by interim division vice president Warren S. Thompson. An administrative assistant to the dean and director, Duckworth received the 1999 Special Service Recognition Award for service to the college and center's staff advisory council. Council chair Beverly Smith presented the award.
