Royce Bowden (r), associate professor of industrial engineering, welcomes to campus Meridian businessman Gil Carmichael, who delivered the first National Center for Intermodal Transportation Lecture. Carmichael chairs the Intermodal Transportation Institute and the Amtrak Reform Council. Bowden is deputy director of the National Center for Intermodal Transportation, a joint project of MSU and the University of Denver.
