Ann Copeland (c), education assistant to Sen. Thad Cochran, recently visited the Mississippi Writing/Thinking Institute at MSU. She discussed a new strategic plan for improving the teaching of writing throughout the state with institute director Sherry Swain (r) and coordinator Kim Patterson. Copeland also accompanied the two to Kemper County where the institute is conducting a three-year school reform program. |
