Two veteran staff members of the University Television Center are assuming responsibility for day-to-day operations of the full-service media operation.
Operations manager Ralph Olivieri and chief engineer Mike Godwin are acting directors, respectively, of operations and engineering, said Dennis A. Prescott, vice president for external affairs.

Olivieri, a 19-year MSU staff member, is director of all television center field, studio and editing facilities. He also coordinates staff productions and serves as a senior producer.
Among features he directs is the award-winning "Farmweek," a 30-minute program airing statewide on Mississippi Educational Television.
Godwin, who has an extensive background in television and radio broadcast services, became the center's chief engineer in 1995. Previously, he worked for more than 13 years in similar positions at television and radio stations in Jackson and Meridian.
"Each of these professionals brings outstanding experience to the job, and I have great confidence in their ability to provide leadership for the television center," Prescott said.
