ITEM: Notice seeking proposals under the International Demand Reduction (IDR) Program, which has been modified to include the participation of non-federal agencies (e.g., universities, non-profit organizations) in the development of national, regional, and international networks of public/private sector organizations to strengthen international cooperation and actions against the drug trade.

AGENCY: U.S. Department of Energy; Idaho Operations Office
ITEM: Notice seeking applications for cost-shared research and development of technologies that will reduce energy consumption, enhance economic competitiveness, and reduce environmental impacts of the Steel Industry. The research is to address research priorities identified by the Steel Industry in Chapters 2, 3, and 4 of the Steel Industry Technology Roadmap.

AGENCY: U.S. Department of Defense (DOD); Department of the Navy; Office of Naval Research
ITEM: Notice seeking proposals under a program designed to enhance universities' capabilities to perform basic science and engineering research and related education in science and engineering areas critical to national defense. The CIP/SW Program will support university team efforts to accelerate research progress in areas particularly suited to this approach and to hasten the transition of basic research findings to practical applications. The DOD expects the CIP/SW program will promote basic science and engineering research to protect the nation's critical infrastructures, primarily for defense but also for civilian applications.

TITLE: Air Vehicles Technology Integration Program (AVTIP)

ITEM: Notice requesting applications for training and technical assistance for national innovations to reduce Disproportionate Minority Confinement (DMC) under the Deborah Ann Wysinger Memorial Program. The purpose of the training and technical assistance is to assist states as they plan, implement, and monitor their DMC initiatives.
