MSU Libraries has established a center to aid undergraduates with term paper and speech research.

The Undergraduate Research Center, located in the Reference Room of Mitchell Memorial Library, houses a collection of popular reference materials that deal with both sides of an issue.

Among the materials is "The Opposing Viewpoints Series," "Contemporary Issues Companion Series," "Current Controversial Series," "At Issue Series," "Information Plus Series," and older issues of CQ Researcher (current issues available at reference desk).

Reference librarians are available to help in using the collection, other reference sources, electronic resources, including full-text and electronic journals, as well as resources in other library areas.

The URC also includes a career center with a selection of resume books, cover letter books, and career encyclopedias.
