Drs. Bharat Soni (l) and Ratnasingham Shivaji welcomed participants to the recent fifth MSU Conference on Differential Equations and Computational Simulations. Nearly 140 participants from 16 different countries attended. The conference was jointly hosted by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics and the Engineering Research Center. MSU co-sponsors included the Office of Research and the colleges of Engineering and Arts and Sciences. Joining Soni and Shivaji as an organizer of the bi-annual event was Dr. Jianping Zhu.
