All parents of MSU students called by Foundation
University employees who are parents of currently enrolled MSU students are being asked to take part in the annual Parent's Fund Campaign of the MSU Foundation. Through the campaign, parents of all MSU students are telephoned each year and asked for their financial support in assisting the Division of Student Affairs with services and programs. "All parents are being asked to make an annual gift that will directly impact Student Affairs and encourage the growth of students, who are the university's most important asset," explained Lori M. Smith, director of the Fund for Excellence. "MSU employees are being asked as parents and not as employees of the university," Smith added. More than 30 students from various degree programs place calls Sunday through Thursday nights for the colleges and schools, the Division of Student Affairs, Athletic Department, and other university areas with special funding needs. The students call from the new state-of-the-art Bulldog Calling Center and are professionally trained and employed by a reputable national organization. For questions regarding the Parent's Fund Campaign, please telephone Lori Smith at 325-7820. |
