Pilot to speak April 25
West Point native Randy Jones will discuss his experiences as a helicopter pilot in an incident in Somalia which inspired the motion picture, "Black Hawk Down."
Jones will speak April 25 at 7 p.m. in the Colvard Union ballroom. He was at the controls of an AH-6 chopper during all 18 hours of the 1993 battle and rescue operation in Somalia.
An 8:30 p.m. screening of the movie will follow Jones' presentation.
