Guest artist Sandip Burman demonstrated his skill with the tabla-a small hand drum-during a recent afternoon concert at Bettersworth Auditorium of Giles Hall. A native of Dungapur, India, he has performed with musicians such as Ravi Shankar and Bela Fleck. His MSU appearance was sponsored by the Department of Music Education.
