Two MSU-Meridian Campus faculty members were presented awards recently by the Meridian Chapter of Phi Delta Kappa,the international education honor society.
Sandra Vaughn, associate professor and director of the social work program, and Rhonda Carr, assistant professor and coordinator of field education, were recognized during the local chapter's annual meeting.
Vaughn, also serving as interim chair of the Division of Arts and Sciences, received the College Administrator of the Year Award.
The Teacher of the Year Award went to Carr. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Carr also is adviser for the MSU-Meridian Chapter of the Association of Student Social Workers.
