A longtime athletic department staff member is the new head of the Bulldog Club.
Straton Karatassos, recently was promoted to associate athletic director, external operations, and executive director of the Bulldog Club.
He has served the past eight years as assistant A.D. for athletic development. For 20 years prior to that, Karatassos worked in MSU's athletic training facility. He joined the university in 1973.
A native of Savannah, Ga., Karatassos will oversee the operations of the Bulldog Club, the university's athletic fund-raising organization.
