Robert Rogers, animal and dairy science, recently served as editor and author of "Meat Science and Applications," a professional reference guide for government, industry and academia.
J.P. Shim, management and information systems, recently participated in the Cross Cultural Study on E-Commerce in Japan. The meeting was the first such academic collaboration between the United States and Japan.
David B. Smith, agricultural and biological engineering, recently was appointed to the Mississippi Agricultural Aviation Board by Gov. Ronnie Musgrove.
Charles Spirrison, psychology, was named to the Executive Committee of the Council of Applied Master's Programs in Psychology. CAMPP is the national organization devoted to the appropriate recognition of master's-level applied psychology training programs.
Tom Woodruff, Student Affairs, recently was selected for the Young Professional Staff Award in the divison. The award is presented annually to a professional staff member who has worked at Student Affairs no more than five years. It is based on overall performance, creativity, leadership, programs, and mentoring.
