Continuing ed relaunches personal enrichment courses

The Division of Continuing Education is again offering personal enrichment classes for the fall semester.

Subjects include home computing basics, wines of the world, holiday wreath making, holiday ceramics, jewelry making, beginning guitar, piano and holiday cooking. The non-credit courses are based on past popularity, current trends and requests.

"We have been listening to community members of all ages express interest in personal enrichment classes," said coordinator Michelle Johnston.

"The division has responded by reviving some of the programs that have been popular in the past, and by adding new courses to create an eclectic mix of classes for this year.

"Our ears are open for ideas and inquiries about course topics so that we can respond quickly to the needs and desires of the community," she added.
