Miss USA Shauntay Hinton of Starkville will greet visitors to the Dawg House Coffee Shoppe during its Jan. 28 grand opening.
Hinton will meet and mingle with customers beginning at 9:45 a.m. At 11 a.m., she will discuss her reign as Miss USA.
The coffeehouse, located on the first floor of the Colvard Union, features flavored coffee, tea, cappuccino, hot chocolate, and Jubilations cheesecakes, as well as wireless Internet access, a big-screen TV, and copy machines.
Other opening day activities include a jazz pianist performance at noon and open microphone night beginning at 7, sponsored by the Campus Activities Board.
