President Charles Lee (l) presented a new fire truck recently to Starkville Fire Chief William Grantham (c) and Mayor Mack Rutledge. As part of a longstanding agreement, the university periodically purchases a pumper for the city, which provides fire protection for the campus. The vehicle is fitted with the latest equipment and a 1,000-gallon water tank.
