President Charles Lee, Sid Salter, & Gary Blair

Sidney L. "Sid" Salter of Forest (c) is the 2004 Mississippi State University Alumnus of the Year. Perspective Editor at the Jackson Clarion-Ledger and a syndicated columnist, the 1988 political science graduate was named in recent campus ceremonies. Presenting the award are President Charles Lee (l) and MSU Alumni Association President Gary Blair of Brookhaven.
