Hardy St. to be blocked
A section of Hardy Street will close temporarily during spring break to allow a large exhaust fan to be lifted onto the east end of the roof of Hand Lab.
The March 18 procedure will block Hardy Street from the Band Hall drive to Morrill Road. North and south through traffic will be routed temporarily through the Band Hall drive and in front of the Industrial Education building through the parking lot east of Longest Student Health Center.
Barricades will be set up at 7 a.m., and the lift is expected to be completed by noon. An additional lift will be required on the west end of Hand Lab to set another fan, but only the drive into the service court of the Swalm Chemical Engineering Building should be affected.
