Research office to fund specific flights
Because flights in the past were not always filled to capacity, the Office of Research and Graduate Studies is no longer sponsoring a monthly flight to Washington, D.C.
Instead, the office is providing up to $800 per trip for individual faculty member's visits to potential funding agencies in the capital city. Requests will be granted by the research office.
Requests for flights through the Office of Research and Graduate Studies should be sent to that office at Mail Stop 9722. Letters should state the agency to be visited, the rationale for the visit, the title of the proposal, the program to which it will be submitted, and if it is a re-submission (copies of the reviews should be attached). Requests must have the support of the department head, dean or director.
