Dr. Martin Levin, President Charles Lee, Sid Salter, and Dr. Dave Breaux

The recent rededication of Bowen Hall celebrated a massive renovation of the 75-year-old building. In addition to departmental offices, classrooms and a large lecture hall, the three-story structure now features two interactive teaching theaters. Seating a total of 51, the theaters are believed to be the only such "wired" rooms anywhere that enable an instructor in one to control computers in both independently or together. Taking part in the ribbon-cutting were tenants Dr. Martin Levin (l), head of the Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Social Work, and Dr. Dave Breaux (r), head of the Department of Political Science and Public Administration. Also on the program were President Charles Lee (second from left) and journalist and former John C. Stennis Scholar Sid Salter.
