Some three million visitors to the Sanderson Center since it opened in 1998 caused the university’s fitness and recreation facility to undergo a partial upgrade during the winter holidays. Campus patrons now tread hallways featuring new carpeting. In addition to the carpeting, the renovations included a new synthetic surface in the Strength and Aerobic Conditioning Room and repair work to the swimming pool.
