Don Downer, (second from right) is receiving Mississippi State’s 2004 Outstanding Student Adviser Award. The professor and former Biological Sciences Department head will represent the university in an annual national recognition program. Curriculum and Instruction assistant professors (from left) Devon Brenner and Terry Jayroe received certificates of merit in the University Academic Advising Center’s annual commendation program.
